Ed Sanders f6a205d77f Use onEditTabClick handler in SingleEditTab 
Gives us extra functionality like  checking for
isUnmodifiedLeftClick which makes CTRL+click on SET
not change the current page, as expected.

Deskana e4b1b9e4f1 Clarify wording of __NOINDEX__ option in VisualEditor 
VisualEditor contains an option in "Advanced options" to add __NOINDEX__ to
the page, stopping external search engines from indexing the page. This does
not affect the in-site search. The current wording is correct, but a little
ambiguous since it just mentions "search engines". This patch clarifies the
wording.

Just use the normal section parameter, haven't been able to figure out why VE
would need to be special about that.

Ed Sanders 56679dfb35 Set section to null when switching from NWE to VE 
This prevents the discard warning from being shown if the user
switches back to NWE then back to VE, as by this point they
have left section editing.

Ed Sanders de2f07d523 Fix handling of API responses 
NWE can return data in 'visualeditoredit' instead of
'visualeditor'. We may want to change this later.

Also restore removed hack code that popuplates missing
VE API data when requesting wikitext.

Roan Kattouw 13801bb6d3 ApiVisualEditor: Move diffing and serializing to ApiVisualEditorEdit 
These require POST, especially paction=serializeforcachekey because
it calls ApiStashEdit::parseAndStash() which needs a master DB connection.
Move them to the edit module so we can require POST for that one and keep
allowing GET for the main module. This fixes the warnings we currently get
for using parseAndStash() in a module that does not require POST.

One after the other is okay though.
Also fix this so that, if the user is fast enough, two images simultaneously
also works.

Derk-Jan Hartman 406e9f8e9c Enable conditional loading of ACE language modes 
require bypasses Ace's internal loadModule() logic which is capable of
on demand loading of Ace modules. Because unloaded modules are not
defined, they cannot be required, and because we don't use RL to preload
all modes (because it's a lot of bytes), currently only very few of the
available language modes were currently available.

Also validate language mode names passed to Ace.

Kunal Mehta 6c93a49244 Get rid of ?venotify= from URL post-save 
Use history.replaceState if available to get rid of the venotify query
parameter to avoid polluting URLs.

Ideally this would just use a cookie like the core post-edit
notification.

is slower than it needs to be. The speeds up the conversion of

Roan Kattouw f2c715aaa0 ce.MWTransclusionNode: Clean up href normalization 
This became a special case when decodeURIComponentIntoArticleTitle()
was introduced, presumably because we skipped underscore transformation
out of laziness here. It doesn't matter whether we do underscore normalization
because we do title normalization right after, so make this code
less exceptional by using the fully decoded title.

<a href="Foo%3F"> would dirty-diff to <a href="Foo?"> and also render
as such, pointing to the wrong page.

We also called decodeURIComponent() on the href twice, which can't
have been good.

Move URI decoding and underscore normalization into
getTargetDataFromHref(), and add rawTitle for callers that need it.
Put rawTitle in the origTitle attribute, so that equivalence
comparisons (decode(origTitle) === title) work as intended.

These aren't in the Parsoid HTML spec., so there's no valid way that they would
be in the original document from upstream, and we don't—at least intentionally—
allow users to insert them, so we can safely assume that they're resulting from
browser extensions and other items inserting content into anything that sort-of
looks like an HTML page.

Alex Monk d907e973fd DesktopWikitextArticleTarget#switchToVisualEditor: Use correct revision ID property 
So we ensure we send the actual revision ID, not potentially undefined, to the
method. If we send undefined, it'll give us an etag for revision number 0...
And that will cause issues when we later attempt (in a future editor switch) to
pass an etag for revision 0 along with the correct revision.

David Lynch 53ad07ed72 MWLinkAnnotationInspector: change where auto switch to external occurs 
OnInternalLinkChange happened post-validation, and received an already title-
normalized version of the href. Thus `file://` would become `:File://`. As
such, hook up to the raw internal link input change event, and judge what the
user actually entered.

Currently the switch only happens if it's a valid schema. Instead, switch if
any schema at all is detected, so we can tell the user it's invalid. If they
really meant to link to an internal wiki-page that just happens to start with
a "schema://", they can switch back to the internal tab to force it.

Roan Kattouw 5483b25657 Reduce mayhem caused by ?oldid=currentRevId 
If you viewed a page with an ?oldid= query parameter set to the ID
of the current revision, some parts of VE would believe we were
in oldid mode (because there's an oldid present), but others
wouldn't (because the revid we're editing equals the newest revid).
This caused bugs when opening the editor a second time after saving
(which is normally impossible to do after an oldid-mode edit, because
we navigate to a new page after an oldid save, but we don't do that
in this case).

Ensure that:
* The internal state of DesktopArticleTarget is updated correctly
  after saving in this case
* The ?oldid= parameter is removed from the URL after saving
* DesktopArticleTarget.init doesn't preload the article HTML
  on a second/subsequent editor load: this causes issues because
  it caches the oldid, and generally speaking the Target's internal
  state is not considered

David Lynch ef7652fdfc Move internal-link detection into the InternalLinkAnnotationWidget 
If internal link detection is in the LinkAnnotationInspector, it falls down
when a valid URL which isn't also a valid page title (e.g. percent-encoded
titles) is pasted into the input. This is fixed by moving the detection to the
input's change handler before any validation can occur.

Ideally we would get an exception when trying to load
a non-existent module, but there is no difference between
a genuinely missing modules, and one which just doesn't exist
on this target (e.g. a desktop-only module on mobile or vice-versa).

This stops mobile VE from crashing every time a desktop-only
module is added to VE plugins.

If you deactivate without saving (e.g. using the back button), the page
contents aren't replaced and so adding the page click handlers is pointless
and harmful because they will run twice.

In case we were switching to source.
Normally MWWikitextSwitchConfirmDialog#getActionProcess would do this for us,
but this closeWindow call doesn't trigger that, we can't get it by overriding

David Lynch cc78cb2d06 Decode encoded link titles when generating them from text 
Percent-encoded characters are forbidden in titles. Copying URLs around will
tend to wind up when them percent-encoded when you paste. Therefore, when
trying to build a title from a pasted link, decode it first.

Thalia 6fdbe9fd7e Make dialog for editing galleries 
Make new graphical interface for editing existing
galleries and adding new galleries.

NB The dialog does not yet support rich text in the
image captions, nor does it provide separate fields for
e.g. link, alt text, etc. These are dependent on parsing
the text within the tag, which is yet to be implemented
by Parsoid. For now, these attributes should be
specified in wikitext in the image-specific caption
field.

Make some of the methods we currently use to render the node
static so we can re-use them before inserting. We do the evaluation
without inserting the node so as not to dirty the document and
transcation history.

In the unlikely case the request fails, just fallback to inline.

This only handles insertions for now as type changes on edit will be
very rare.

This changes the signature of insertTransclusionNode, which is used
in Cite and Citoid extensions.

David Lynch 8bb1399c97 Select the label properly when converting LinkNode to LinkAnnotation 
We were selecting outside the annotation, when converting a LinkNode to a
LinkAnnotation. This meant that typing would overwrite the annotation as well
as the label. Speculatively, this is probably a side-effect of recent changes
to how nails and cursor offsets interact.

You can still open VE with prefer-wt mode by going to veaction=edit, and
T116406 proposes making it accessible with a keyboard shortcut as well.

Ed Sanders 011ff4e133 Replace transitionend event with setTimeout 
transitionend events seem like a neater solution, but we should
migrate all of our code at once, and provide a polyfill for
browsers which don't support it (IE9).

Ed Sanders f342dc01c3 Adjust DOM and CSS so UI surface runs from top to bottom of page 
Place things like the page title and redirect link inside a new
container $originalContent, which is appended to the surface
when ready. Replace margins with padding in various places.

This will allow us to surface-height-matching sidebar for dialogs.
