Siebrand Mazeland e7afc5618a * Remove $wgExtensionCredits['description'] where $wgExtensionCredits['descriptionmsg'] present. This feature was introduced in MediaWiki 1.12, and 'description' is not used if 'descriptionmsg' is present.

Siebrand Mazeland e26cb735b1 (bug 21387) Make $ regex work for the URLs. Patch contributed by Platonides. 
Bug comment: Set PCRE_MULTILINE on spamblacklist regexes. $ on spam blacklist regex should match the end of the url (not of the text) so it can be used to match only the mainpage. Since the candidate urls are already joined with a new-line separator, it's just setting PCRE_MULTILINE on the regex.

* remove obsolete translations
* update language names
* update authors (f.e. remove translatewiki.net staff members doing mass edits from their non-native languages)

Brion Vibber fc6599f18e Cleaning up some old PHP 4 object-reference usage in some edit filtering hooks. 
There was a mix of uses of the reference and non-uses of the reference. :)
Reverts r53714 and fixes it from the other end by cleaning up the uses to not expect references.
