This number is from 2020. It's certainly meaningless by now. Even causes extra confusion, see e.g. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Xsi5ull7fkcnbzuw Depends-On: If1bbb57919af4948cecb0a63472ac323175f90c1 Depends-On: Iaae0ac43174f471d8d210958704f98182e9979c5 Change-Id: Iaa56abbc7b54f4a551ca330ff08d542cb5a2b895 |

VisualEditor
VisualEditor provides a visual editor for wiki pages. It is written in JavaScript and runs in a web browser.
It uses the Parsoid parser to convert wikitext documents to annotated HTML which the VisualEditor is able to load, modify and emit back to Parsoid at which point it is converted back into wikitext.
For more information about these projects, check out the VisualEditor and Parsoid pages on mediawiki.

For information on installing VisualEditor on a local wiki, please see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:VisualEditor
